Shoot at Murder Mile Studio

A couple of weeks ago I went on a fabulous shoot at Murder Mile, a gothic/fetish studio. If you want to have a proper butchers at the set, you can see it here, but be warned it is a fetish studio so... there's fetish stuff. Even if you're not into that, the studio was beautiful.... all leather thrones and couches and gorgeous carpets and animal skulls everywhere. And, er, other stuff. Anyway...

I'll add more if people want, but I don't have all the pictures back yet. I had some ones that would have been awesome back, but they've got things like worn-off lipstick, etc. This is what happens when you're the only MUA on a shoot that's across two floors. I don't think I did a bad job considering... there were supposed to be 3 MUAs and 10 models... the 10 models showed up! I felt really stressed because most of the models expected there to be a makeup artist there.... ugh. It's tough running around after 5 girls on two floors to keep them looking tip-top. I wish the photographers would have kept a better eye on things like that for me. Five of the girls were awesome and did their own (none of them needed me anyway!).... phew, I'm still tired!

  8. I just glanced at the title and seeing "shoot" and "Murder" in the same title after reading about riots brought my mind to a not-photoshoot mindset. The make-up looks great though.

  9. @C P: Eh? It's a title... It was indeed a photoshoot, and it was indeed at Murder Mile Studio. I mean... nothing more to say there.

  14. Holy crap, these are so freakin' sweet! That must have been so much fun to take pictures in such a neat place and do all the makeup (even if it was hard being the only one!) I'm always so impressed that you get to do makeup on real people for such neat photo shoots. Also, I would love to have a sweet goth club night in that studio. That would be deadly.
