Quickie Review - Sleek True Colour Lipstick in Amethyst

I'd always ignored Sleek lip products, apart from the yummy Pout Polishes - before until I saw Brian tweet (and then blog about as I was writing this!) about how pigmented the lipsticks were. This combined with certain people's purple lipstick collections putting my paltry handful to shame led me to pick up this bad boy:

Awesome, huh? The packaging is compact and simple and the lipstick itself is wonderfully pigmented - great colour with one swipe. The formula is a tiny bit dry, but nothing major that a balm won't counteract and certainly nothing like as bad as the Barry M lip paint formula can be. Want an awesome purple for £3.69? Of course you do. But beware - the colour 'swatches' on the Sleek website are abominably unrepresentative!

    It looks so pretty! I always pick it up, um and aaah, then put it back down. I have 'Majestic', a dark plum colour which is pretty darn drying. I'd like a red next (of course)!

    @froggi: They're certainly worth a try. The palette obviously rock, some of the blushes are lovely too.

    I have Rose Petal, and one of the sheer ones called Organza, and they're both really beautiful. Cheap too!
