Now I have so much makeup, I don’t make such large indie hauls any more – I tend to just pick up what really speaks to me, and it’s much cheaper that way, obviously! Now I’ve got so much shiz, I’m not in the ‘OMG I could have bought 6 indie lippies for that price!’ frame of mind, so I don’t mind forking out for MAC or high end stuff now and then (it’s still pretty expensive for me!)
Hang Up (Cremesheen)
Oooh, innit nice? I was eyeing up Cyber but I figured I’d never actually wear it, but I still fancied something dark and sexy, so this came home with me. I need to find a good liner for it, as I found it did bleed a wee bit towards the end of the afternoon. Boo.
Rebel (Satin)
I know there are probably a billion and one dupes for Rebel, and knowing me I probably have one, but I’ve been lusting after this lipstick for a long time, and I had a Back2Mac so I just got it. Love it!
MAC Viva Glam Nicki (Satin)
RIGHT?! Hooo, boy, this is a hot one. No idea what I’m going to wear it with – I’ll probably take a clue from the lady herself and wear it with TONS of lashes.
Viva Glam V (Lustre.)
I bought this after Wendy recommended it to RaeRae, and she recommend it to me. It’s a lovely, slightly mauvey netural with gold shimmers. I’ve seen this slagged a LOT online – too boring, too shimmery, blah blah blah. I love it. This, brown smokey eye, done.
Viva Glam Ricky Lip Conditioner
I wasn’t going to get this, but I was powerless against the lovely man in MAC with the Vivienne Westwood necklace on, and it’s for Viva Glam, soooo…. doesn’t count? It’s a nice conditioner – it’s petroleum based, with shea butter and various oils. It does the job well, so I’m probably going to get another one for my kit.
Dollymix, Coygirl, Pinch O’ Peach.
Springsheen, Style, Peaches.
My very first MAC blush palette! I didn’t get all these at once, obviously, and I had to order the palette itself online - which Yodel left on my doorstep. In a huge box. Clearly marked as MAC. THANKS YODEL. Anyway, I love MAC blushes – they’re sheer but buildable, and last pretty much all day. I just wish they weren’t £18 each – most of these I got from Fragrance Direct (Dollymix was a present from Rachael <3 ) I’m quite proud that I depotted them and only put a dink in one!
What a great haul! Viva Glam Nicki is much lovelier on you than it was on me; I tried it on and it was so BRIGHT. And not in a fresh, eye-catching way :( I seriously want Hang Up and Viva Glam V now... If I go to the MAC counter in the very very very near future and come home with something new, I am blaming you!
ReplyDeleteOoooh those lippies are so nice! Esp Satin. I want that. I really want that. :-) x
ReplyDeleteVG Nicki doesn't look as good on me as it does on you. My lips are too dark for such amazing hot pinks. Tis v. annoying. I need to try it with a liner next time. Also blush palette = awesome. Well done on depotting... I've never tried to depot but I think I may depot some MAC eyeshadows soon... x(stupid long comment, sorry)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great MAC haul! Love the lippies. I've been pondering VG Nicki, just not sure if it is going to look good on me :( I'm jealous of your blush palette!
ReplyDeleteOh god....I didn't even vaguely want VG Nicki until I saw this :'( It looks beautiful on you!
ReplyDeleteI love the way VG Nicki looks on you! I love seeing Mac hauls, thanks for showing this! :)
ReplyDeletewell don't feel bad, sometimes you just got to be more luxury right!
ReplyDeletebut even though the mac nerve never seems to disappear, i get a lot surprised from indie brands and their amazing pay off, and colours. so 50/50 on this one for me.
though..... rebel would be nice in my stash as well hehe!/Azure
Rebel was MADE for you...amazing! (I'm with you on the indie lip thing. Though, I'm doing it with MAC pigments. lol)
ReplyDeleteViva Glam V is PERFECT on you! I really love Hang Up and the blushes as well.
ReplyDeleteNice haul! I love Coygirl and Rebel!
