High Voltage Love Week: Day 3

Due to recent customer service complaints, long order waits, orders going missing and ingredient inconsitencies, I can no longer recommend High Voltage Cosmetics.
This look didn't turn out how quite I wanted... I put too much Pixie Epoxy on to start and it was all going wrong... bleh. Some nice colours though, so here it is anyway!

Lid: Rebel Rebel
Line in crease, both lashlines: Dark Romance
Inner Corner: Himinbjorg (Norse Mythology)

Models Own blusher in Warm Glow

Boots Natural Collection in Rosebud

Rebel Rebel is so gorgeous - it's billed as an olive colour, but on me it's much more of a dusky, sage-y blue. I wanted to extend the line of Dark Romance - really awesome, black based green-gold - out past my crease, to create a sort of negative wing, but it just wasn't happening for me that day. I think that these shadows might fare better with a creamy, rather than a sticky base, but then I always find it hard to do any detailed shadow work over P.E. I hate it when I have a 'vision' and it just won't go! Oh well, maybe next time!

  1. this is gorgeous and the blue looks so amazing with your red hair!! BTW do u dye your hair yourself? I blleched my black hair for an hour yesterday and it barley touched it!! I was so annoyed..any tips??

  2. I -love- that lid color! I understand what you mean about PE, sometimes stuff just doesn't want to work over it!

@Jess: She has naturally blonde hair so she doesn't have to do any work ;-)

  3. I adore how Rebel, Rebel looks on you!

    Fierce Nerditude

  4. I love how you did the crease! And you keep just giving me more reasons to place a High Voltage order!

  5. Damn, I love the color in the inner corners!

    Definitely another lovely look. :D

  6. I find that whenever I have a vision, it just turns to sh*t. My best looks come from when I grab a bunch of eyeshadows and start slappin' them on, my dreams and visions shall never come true. I must say, Rebel Rebel is a grea colour on you, it makes for a nice contrast with the hair!
