Due to recent customer service complaints, long order waits, orders going missing and ingredient inconsitencies, I can no longer recommend High Voltage Cosmetics.
Even though I'd been told to not wear 'crazy' makeup at my new job... yea. Sorry. I'm not a neutral girl, I'm afraid. And for me, this *is* toned down!

Eyes:
Lid: Aandlang (Norse Mythology)
Crease/lower lashline: Detroit Rock City
Outer V: Solar Power
Cheeks:
MUA Blusher Shade 4
Lips:
Barry M Lip Gloss Wand in Sorbet
Detroit Rock City... mmm-mm! It's a lovely bright aqua that really packs a punch when you.. er, pack it on, but it looks lovely blended out too. I applied Aandlang over a glittery gold base, so in real life, some gold showed through it. Such a gorgeous shade. It needed something else, so I applied a little Solar Power in the outer V. It's a murky grey-purple and I think it pulled the colours together nicely.
Liking the week so far? Bored yet? :P
This is so pretty, the colours really suit you :)
ReplyDeleteGoooorgeous, love the colour combo and expert blending :)
ReplyDeleteSeriously? They told you to tone your makeup down? How afwul! I think this is very pretty and totally appropriate!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful makeup! The colors are so vibrant!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Love how this look turned out! All three of those are beautiful colors!
ReplyDelete@Sepia Raven: Thankyou! I do get on well with peaches.
ReplyDelete@BeautysBadHabit: Aw, schucks! :D
@Musing On Beauty: Nobody here has said anything, but my old manager (still in the same company as before) told me I might want to turn it down a wee bit. Whatever! I'll come in with a neon look one day and if they don't say anything that'll be the green light!
@Manuki: Thanks! They were a little brighter irl, Detroit Rock City is a really hot colour!
@The Peach: Yeah, I'm totally in love with the Norse Mythology colours I got!
This is awesome! You wouldn't expect the colors to go together but the gradation between them is so pretty :)
ReplyDeleteI would have never thought those colors would have worked. Beautiful look! And hey, it's not that crazy. Next time someone says something ask them about where to find information on the harassment policies ;) (Every workplace has them, right? ;) )
ReplyDeleteI picture you as a ballerina with this look. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty... I love the lid colour. I say just get progressively brighter, they won't even notice :P
ReplyDeleteWow, I love this and the blending is incredible! I love how the colors just meld into one another. :)
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to wear neutral shadows to get a pretty look... this is so nice and quite springy
ReplyDeleteWell this is f**king awesome! I feel your pain about the whole job and toning down the makeup thing.....it really sucks. When I began to work in my so-called profession, I also had to dye all the fun colour out of my hair! LAME! Down with neutrals!
ReplyDeleteAandlang is super pretty on you! :)
ReplyDeleteEverything has been said,so: I love the look !
ReplyDeleteThe blush and lip color work very well with Aandlang :)
This color combo looks so cool! I'll have to try this one Out!
ReplyDeleteLove these colors on you. I don't see how anyone could object to this look cause it's so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHeh. I was told the same thing at my job. But it's not gonna happen. I wore green glitter the very next day and got tons of compliments. You will triumph! This is a very pretty look by the way, so great with your eye color!
