Disney Collaboration with Fierce Nerditude: Pongo from 101 Dalmatians

I was so pleased when I got Pongo for my character this week. I loved the film as a kid, and I loved the book by Dodie Smith even more. (I actually preferred the sequel novel, The Starlight Barking, which is so lovely.) Anyway, I gave Vijaya Bianca from The Rescuers, another of my favourite Disney films as a kid. Also joining us in the Disney madness this week is Rachael from The Beauty Spot, who’s done an adorable look based on Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Please go and give her some love as well!

I used: white Kryolan Aqua Color, black gel liner by Maybelline, Darling Girl eyeshadow in Honey Pot and neutrals from Sleek Bohemian. Lashes are Eyelure Girls Aloud – Sarah Harding (embarrassing!)

I didn’t really want to include the red from his collar, because I thought against all the white it would make me look pretty sick, but I put in a touch of gold just to keep it interesting. I still think this is cute though, and it’s really easy! If you were going as a spotty animal for Hallowe’en I think this would be cool to wear (after bopping you on the head for not going as something scary.)

Thanks for reading and don’t forget to check out Vijaya and Rachael!

  4. This is super cute! I love how simple and nice this is. Not something you'd except, because before I saw the pictures I would just think you did a white lid with spots haha. very different but I love it anyway!

  9. I love this look! It's been ages since I read the book, so I could be mistaken, but my only gripe with the movie was they merged Perdita and the Missus. -.- There were three adults, Disney, I shake my first at you. But half-heartedly, because that movie is so cute. And *every* Winter, I am constantly quoting that "my nose is froze, and my tail is froze, and my toes is froze..." to Greg.
